Children’s Ministry
"Children's Ministry at PFBC exists to teach children that God is real, model for them how that changes everything, and encourage children as they live for Jesus in this world."

Questions you might have as a parent …
-
When you walk in the front doors, look to your left, and you will see a check in station and some friendly faces. Come say “Hi!” to some of our Children's Ministry Team who will help check your children in.
-
We like to gather as a whole Church Family before sending our children to their classes. So, most weeks children are dismissed after the 3rd worship song. There will be a very clear announcement when it's time for them to go.
-
That is totally ok! We understand that a room full of strangers can be a little intimidating for your children, so parents/guardians are more than welcome to join their child in their class for as long as they like!
-
There are 5 different classrooms for children every Sunday morning during the 9am service, including Nursery (0-24 months), Preschool (2-4 years), Kindergarten-Grade 1, Grade 2-3, and Grade 4-5.
-
Yes! Your children are all assigned a unique number when they check in. Parents are given a tag to keep with that number on it. During the service, we have a paging system that uses two small screens on either side of the stage in the front of the Auditorium. If you are needed, we will project your child’s number on them.
-
We ask that parents make their way upstairs (just ask if you are unsure which direction to go) to assume responsibility for their children shortly after the service ends. Our hallway has some cool toys for children to play with while parents connect with each other. We hope that this provides time and space for people to be known and belong.
Curriculum Overview
This school year, our focus is "The Fruit of the Spirit." It is our hope that each week, children will know more of who God is, and who they are in Him. Each month we will focus on a different fruit of the Spirit, spending lots of time talking about creation, and seeing the world the way God intended it to be, the teachings and life of Jesus, and the work of the Holy Spirit as He cultivates His fruit in us!
"But the Fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control."
